United Community Centers

United Community Centers (UCC) was founded by residents of local housing projects to organize East New York neighbors to struggle for a better community and higher quality of life. The settlement offers service programs and advocacy campaigns.

Emergency Prep

Preparing in advance is the only way to be ready in case of an emergency or natural disaster. As New York City saw with Hurricane Sandy, neighborhoods rely on their community organizations and settlement houses, especially in the event of emergency.
