Mosholu Montefiore Community Center

Bronx

Founded in 1942, Mosholu Montefiore Community Center provides services and activities for over 20,000 individuals each year at sites located in its main building on Gun Hill Road, in 12 public schools, at the Marble Hill Houses and at its branch in Co-op City.

Emergency Prep

Preparing in advance is the only way to be ready in case of an emergency or natural disaster. As New York City saw with Hurricane Sandy, neighborhoods rely on their community organizations and settlement houses, especially in the event of emergency. The resources here, created and gathered through a partnership between United Neighborhood Houses and Citi Foundation, can help organizations prepare so they can serve their community year round, no matter what the year brings.
